Yvonne Annette Loggins, 82, passed from this life on December 30, 2020, in Cleveland, Oklahoma.
Yvonne was born on November 26, 1938, in Pawnee, Oklahoma. Yvonne grew up and attended school in Cleveland, graduating with the Class of 1957. In her Senior year, Yvonne was the Cleveland football queen. Following high school, Yvonne worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone as an operator in Cleveland. Several years later, the position was terminated, and Yvonne began working at a local accounting office. On December 26, 1961, in Cleveland, Oklahoma, Yvonne was united in marriage to the love of her life Millard D. Loggins. The couple established their home in Cleveland, where they have continued to reside. Yvonne later applied at First Bank and was offered a teller position. Yvonne worked at First Bank for over 36 years when she retired as the Assistant Vice President on February 12, 2001.
Yvonne loved her church and church family. She spent numerous hours preparing food for all kinds of events, from Falls Creek, family functions to funeral dinners. She loved doing this because helping others was her passion. Yvonne worked as Sunday School director for many years as well as a Sunday school teacher. Working in the yard and helping Millard with his garden was also something she enjoyed. Going on trips and vacations were always memorable times for Yvonne. She still likes the times going to visit the Amish country in the Northeast and trips into Canada. Her favorite thing to do was being with her family and attending church at the First Baptist Church in Cleveland.
Survivors include her husband Millard of the home, daughter Donna Jo Angelo and her husband Tim of Tyler, Texas; five grandchildren Megan Ellis, Emily Allums, Kathryn Balderrama, Joseph Angelo, Abigail Angelo; six great grandchildren Gabriella and Ethan Balderrama, Cade and Lucy Ellis, Benjamin and Jacob Allums and a host of other relatives and friends. Yvonne was preceded in death by her mother Ercie (Marler) Davis, daughter Debbie Loggins and her brother Roger Stepich.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, January 4, 2021, at the First Baptist Church in Cleveland with Pastor Greggory Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Dixie Bear Creek Cemetery. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. Friends and family may visit an online guest book and memorial page for Yvonne at www.chapman-black.com.
