William Dee Adrean

William Dee Adrean passed from this life on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years, four months and twenty seven days.

Bill was born November 25, 1946, he was the son of William Oliver and Juanita Ruth (Hindman) Adrean. Bill was raised in Osage, Oklahoma where he began his education. He attened school through his Junior year at Osage. Bill graduated from Prue High School with the Class of 1964. That was the first class to graduate from Prue High School. Bill furthered his education at Oklahoma State University. Bill later joined the Local Plumbers and Pipefitters Union 430. He worked as a welder pipefitter for nearly 40 years when he retired in 2004.

Bill’s passion was his game fowl. He enjoyed raising them and sold them throughout the world. His travels with the union also took him to every state in the continental US. While his children were growing up Bill and Darrell Matlock started Green Country Soccer team in West Tulsa, Oklahoma. He coached soccer for many years and enjoyed every day that he was able to make a difference in a child’s life. Bill was also a member of the Oklahoma Game Breeders Association.

Survivors are his wife Kathy of the home, two children William D. Adrean, Jr and his wife Stephanie of Heavener, Oklahoma, Richard Lee Adrean and his wife Rachel of Coweta, Oklahoma; sister Janie Adrean of Osage, Oklahoma; six grandchildren Dawson, Luke, Nathan, Paige, Trevor and Travis and many other relatives and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his mother Juanita Ruth Adrean, father William Oliver Adrean and one brother Richard Hale Adrean.

Graveside Services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, April 25, 2015, at the Osage Cemetery with Rev. David Head officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
