Winfred Willard Wilkins passed from this life on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 53 years eight months and sixteen days. Willard was born June 21, 1958, in Pawnee, Oklahoma. He was the son of Winfred William and Rosalee (Evans) Wilkins. As a young boy Willard attended school in Cleveland before transferring to Terlton for a couple of years. Willard later returned to Cleveland and was an active part of the baseball team and graduated with the Class of 1976. Following high school Willard began working for Haco Tree Timming as well as BFI Waste Management for several years. In 1983, Willard gained employment with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. On August 13, 1999, Willard was united in marriage to Julieta Caubat and has continued to reside in Maramec. Willard has continued to work for ODOT working his way up and was currently the Transportation Maintenance Superintendent for Division 8 covering Pawnee County. Willard loved to go deer hunting and spend time with his grandkids. He also helped coach his grandchildrenÃs summer league softball team for many years. Willard was a member of the Pawnee Golf Course where he spent many hours playing golf. Willard and Julieta has taken two memorable vacations and one was to visit her family in the Philippines and the other was a trip to Sturgis on their motorcycle while visiting the Black Hills during that time. Survivors are his wife Julieta of the home, two children Willard Allen Wilkins of Hallett, Oklahoma, Amber Brown of Cleveland, Oklahoma; four sisters Juanita Murray of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Chris Gilley of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Marie Carrington of Coweta, Oklahoma, Velma Mayfield of Sperry, Oklahoma, two brothers Bill Wilkins of Mannford, Oklahoma, David Wilkins of Maramec, Oklahoma, seven grandchildren Karly, Erin, A.J., Kimmy, Emily, Isabelle, Blake and a host of other relatives and friends. Williard was preceded in death by his parents Graveside services will be held 10:30 am Saturday, March 10, 2012 at IOOF Maramec Cemetery with Father Bruce Brosnahan officiating. Rosary services will be held on Friday, 6:00 pm at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Burial will be in in IOOF Maramec Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
