Today, we celebrate the life lived, the lives touched, and the memories that will live on. Wayne Evans Holloway was born on March 12, 1947, to John and Kathryn Holloway. He was born again by Believing in Jesus as his LORD and Savior on February 8, 1998. He was not always a man who made good choices, but he made the best decision of his life on that day. For now, he was a sinner saved by grace through faith. That would be a decision he would want you to consider carefully if you haven't already. Wayne worked hard throughout his life, beginning at a very young age working on a ranch in Osage county, feeding cattle to help provide for his family. At 17, he joined the United States Navy, where he served his country. While serving in the Navy, Wayne met Kay - the mother of his children Rhonda, Dominic, and Ronnie. After eight years in the Navy, where he served in Vietnam, he returned home, gaining employment with CE-NATCO. Wayne also worked as a welder and construction worker in the oilfield, but one of his most cherished times was working for Charlie Dell at D&D Lease company. After years of working for others, Wayne began his own business running a backhoe service, a trade he learned from his dad as a young boy while spending many hours riding the dozer with him.

Wayne loved his time hunting, fishing, and watching Saturday morning cartoons with his sons. Father and son time was very important to him. That time was cut short by his son Ronnie who passed away from cancer at the young age of 19. Wayne also enjoyed the many memorable times with his grandkids, Afton and Brooke, who blessed him with his great-grandkids, Sophie, Logan, Maycie, Bella, Nayely, and Emberly. Wayne married his wife Lee Ann on June 17, 2000; they had just shy of 22 years of a wonderful life together, not always easy but blessed to walk the journey together. Wayne helped her raise her children Ray, Sarah, and grandkids Michael, Ethan, Aden, Adriana, and Aaliyah. He was always treating them as his own kids because they were his kids to Wayne. Wayne loved his church family and serving in the church. He may not have been a teacher or deacon, but he did the work of those by teaching in the way he lived and served in the church, keeping up with maintenance, lawn work, and jobs that people may not have seen. However, it was necessary for things to run smoothly. He also loved to tell how the Lord changed his life and made him new. After battling cancer in 2003, he won that fight but living with the cure wasn't easy, and after 17 years, cancer returned. Wayne's last few years were enjoyed by attending church with many family game days. Playing corn hole and 1000's games of 5 crowns. Wayne loved messaging with his sister Helen and friends; these were all some of the greatest times of his life.

Wayne made his journey home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 9, 2022, at home, surrounded by family. He was loved by many and will be missed by his family and friends, to which he would always say, "I Love You More!" and remember, "everything is going to be alright, and if it isn't, it's going to be alright!" One last thing, always refer to rule #1. Grandpa is always right I loved you more, and it is alright I am home!

Services will be held 10:00 am, Friday April 15, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Terlton, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Mannford, Oklahoma. .
