Wanda Mae Cheary

Graveside services for Wanda Mae Younger Cheary, 64, of Oilton, Oklahoma will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 in the Terlton Cemetery. Burial will also be in the Terlton Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc. Jo was born on September 16, 1946 in Terlton, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of James and Veronia Mae (Turner) Younger. As a young girl Jo was raised and received her education in Terlton. During her senior year Jo transferred to Mannford, Oklahoma where she graduated high school. After the completion of high school Jo remained in the Terlton area. On March 12, 1971; Jo was united in marriage to Ray Cheary in Jay, Oklahoma. The couple established their home in Oilton where they have continued to reside. Jo enjoyed spending her time fishing on Keystone Lake. One of her favorite things to do was spend time with her family. Sunday dinners were also a treat that Jo looked forward to. This would allow her the time to spend with her children and grandchildren that she loved so much. Jo received great joy in life by being with her family. Wanda Mae Younger Cheary passed from this life on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the age of 64 years. Survivors are her husband Ray of the home, six children James Michael Cheary and his wife Gayla of Glencoe, Oklahoma, Timmy Ray Cheary and his wife Becky of Perkins, Oklahoma, Michael Wayne Cheary and his wife Toni of Oilton, Oklahoma, Amanda Jo Casey and her husband Steve of Oilton, Oklahoma, Linda Dale and her husband Billy of Oilton, Oklahoma; Raymond Shawn Cheary and his wife Fran of Oilton, Oklahoma, Shelly Ruhman of Drumright, Oklahoma; one sister Linda Young and her husband Jim of Oilton, Oklahoma; twenty grandchildren Britney Poole, Billy "Bubba" Poole, Jessica and Kevin Begley, Cody and Chad Wikel, Dani Casey, John Michael Raymond Cheary, Olivia Cheary, Oren Cheary, Stacy Ballard, Shallyn and Jason Rush, Nathan Cheary, Caiti Cheary, Brett Cheary, Bianca Cheary, Kelby Alexander, Rickashae Gilley, Gabrielle Damarin, Jayce Damarin; four great grandchildren Chasidy, Chevy and Carson Wikel and Koltin Begley as well as a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Jo was preceded in death by her three brothers Lawrence "Dale" Younger, Fred B. Younger, Kenneth Vern Younger and a granddaughter Kimberly Cheary.
