Wanda Fay Tindell, of Cleveland was born September 22, 1938 in Jennings, Oklahoma to Cecil Loyd and Mary Elizabeth (Pittser) Morgan. As a young girl Wanda was raised and received her education in the Hallett and Jennings area. Wanda was united in marriage at a young age to Clarence Vandever they established their intial home in Cleveland. After the completion of her marrige to Clarence, Wanda worked at several different places in Cleveland. In 1962, Wanda moved to the Dallas Fort Worth Area. While living in Arlington, Texas, Wanda met William Edward Tindell. On December 12, 1962, Wanda was united in marriage to William Tindell in Odessa, Texas. Wanda and William lived in the Dallas Fort Worth area as well as Cleveland.
Wanda enjoyed spending time crocheting, reading and traveling as long as she was driving. She also enjoyed spending time visiting with her family and friends.
Mrs. Tindell passed away February 13, 2007 in Cushing, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years 4 months and 21 days. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Tindell, a daughter Karen Sue House as well as a infant daughter, Mona Fay Vandever.
Survived by her children Dianne Clewien of Cleveland, Oklahoma; Carol Ann Dyer of Maine; Lola Marcel of Cleveland, Oklahoma; Margaret Sue Armstrong of Paris, Texas; Billy Tindell of Paris, Texas; brothers, Willis Morgan of Cleveland, Oklahoma; Ray Lee Morgan of San Bernardino, Califonia; Harold Morgan of Yale, Oklahoma; Ricky Morgan of Yale, Oklahoma; sisters, Bonnie Vandever of Cleveland, Oklahoma; Betty Haley of Yale, Oklahoma; Genetta Jones of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Marie Bickham of Cleveland, Oklahoma; Myra Baker of Hennessey, Oklahoma; Merlene Porter of Cushing, Oklahoma; Earlene Ingman of Thorne Bay, Alaska; Debra Diane Blevins of Arlington, Texas; Anna Sue Schaffer of Nebraska as well as numerous grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will include Billy Tindell, Gerold Haley, David Morgan, Brion Morgan, Jarod Morgan, Robert Morgan, and Larry Vandever.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 15, 2007 at 2:00 pm in the Sanctuary of the Wayside Chapel with Willis Morgan officiating. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc.
