Volley Henery Clark passed from this life on August 14, 2019, at the age of 76 in Prue, Oklahoma. He was born on September 11, 1942, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Volley was the son of Volley, Sr. and Ethal Clark. Volley attended school and later graduated from Sand Springs Highs School. Following the completion of his education he began working at Horner Box Company. After working at Horner for nearly 18 years he accepted a position with Sheffield as a plant electrician where worked until his retirement. He was united in marriage on December 14, 1985, to Chrissie Patterson at the Sand Springs Elks Lodge.
Volley had several hobbies some of them include watching car racing and traveling. One of his most memorable trips was to the Texas Motor Speedway in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was also an avid Ham Radio operator and enjoyed being able to communicate with people throughout the world. Volley always stated that Elzy Garrison, his grandmothers as well as his wives Vicky and Chrissie had the most significant effect on his life. In addition to his parents Volley was preceded in death by his two wives Vicky and Chrissie.
Survivors include his three brothers; one sister, brother-in-law Terry Patterson of Prue, Oklahoma, sister-in-law Robin Bryan and her husband Mario of Prue, Oklahoma, nieces, and nephews Brandy Andrea, Whitney Patterson, Bobby Patterson and Teri Surrett and numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, at the Prue Cemetery in Prue, Oklahoma with Brother Garry McDevitt officiating. Chapman-Black Funeral Home in Cleveland, Oklahoma, will be handling the arrangements. Friends and family may visit an online guest book and memorial page for Volley at www.chapman-black.com.
