Virginia Lemaster, 79, died September 15, 2005, at her home in Ardmore. Memorial services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, October 22, 2005 at the Blackburn Cemetery in Blackburn, Oklahoma with Phil Pinkstaff officiating. Services are under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc. of Cleveland, Oklahoma.
Virginia was born June 4, 1926 in the community of Red Eagle north of Hominy, Oklahoma to Jacop Peter and Ester Latta Doerr, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Bob Doerr and two sisters Stella Doerr and Ruth Thompson.
Virginia was united in marriage to J.W. Lemaster on July 24, 1944 in Perry, Oklahoma. Virginia and J.W. made their initial home in Oklahoma City. In the 1960Ãs Virginia and J.W. moved to the Ardmore Area. She was a homemaker and wonderful cook who loved to go bowling as well as enjoyed going camping.
Virginia is survived by husband of 61 years J.W. of the home, daughter Sharon Smith and her husband Larry of Dickson, two sons Norman Lemaster and his wife Brenda, and Gary Lemaster all of Ardmore, Oklahoma, three sisters, Shirley Kennedy and Ora Mae Swink of California, and Norma Casey of Washington, Two brothers, Joe Paul Doerr of Utah, and Jimmy Doerr, of Whichita, Kansas, three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Memorials cam be made to the Cross Timbers Hospice, 207 C. Street Northwest in Ardmore, Oklahoma 73401.
