Thomas Willie (T.W.) “Dub” Davidson passed from this life on September 14, 2018, at the age of 62. He was born November 18, 1955, to Ernie and Alvera (Wilcoxson) Davidson in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dub played in the band during school as a drummer, graduating Cleveland High School in 1974. Many viewed him as very talented musically. His favorites were country music as well as music from the 70s. He also was a DJ at KUSH radio in Cushing for many years.
Dub worked at Super H in Turley, Oklahoma for a couple of years as well as Sand Springs and Cleveland. While at the Baptist Village in Cleveland, he would often lend a helping hand, telling those around him how much he loved doing so. His faith in Christ is what drove him and was baptized in 1974. Dub enjoyed Sunday School, Bible studies as well as the times at Leonard’s house. Dub was a member of First Baptist Church.
T.W. is survived by two sons; Thomas Wayne Davidson & wife Andrea and Lance Adams; two daughters; Stephanie Hanks and Chassidy Troup; and a brother, Leonard Morris Davidson. Dub has ten grandchildren; Emma, Dylan, Easton, Noah, Maverick, Alexis, MaKenzie, Colton, Tucker, and Braxton. Dub is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Ernie Lee Davidson.
A memorial service to remember T.W.’s life will be held at 10 A.M. Friday, September 21, 2018, at the First Baptist Church in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Burial of the cremated remains will be in the Woodland Cemetery. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
