Thomas Edward Jones

Thomas Edward Jones, of Cleveland, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Sunday, February 14, 2010 in the Cleveland Area Hospital at the age of 44 years. Tom was born July 20, 1965 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He was the son Edward Francis and Myrtle Marie (Youngblood) Ford. As a young child Tom grew up in Sasakwa, Oklahoma where he began and completed his education. Following the completion of his education Tom began working in the oil fields of Oklahoma. Tom has continued to work in the oil fields until the last couple of years when he was injured while working on the job. He was united in marriage to Jennifer Leigh Fadling on Febuary 2, 2005 in Cleveland, Oklahoma. The couple established their home in Cleveland where they have continued to reside. His hobbies include riding motorcycles, fishing, camping, playing pool as well as being outdoors. Tom also enjoyed calling his friends and family on the phone or stoping in by their home to visit. Survivors include his wife Jennifer of the home, step father Clifford Jones of Checotah, Oklahoma; three children Amy Garrison of Sayer, Oklahoma, Johnny Jones of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Christopher Jones of Midwest City, Oklahoma; four step children Bradley Dover of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Cole Quezada of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Destiny Quezada of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Seth Wenger of Cleveland, Oklahoma; two brothers Carl Jones of Lawton, Oklahoma, Mike Jones of Bethany, Oklahoma; two sisters Margaret Barber of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Shannon Farrell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three grandchildren Emily, Jimmy, Jonathan as well as a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents Tom was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Imogene Beavers and a niece Anna Atkinson. Memorial services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, February 19, 2010 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Hall officiating. The body was cremated under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
