Thomas Buford Hogue passed from this life to meet the lord on February 4,2022 at the Southern Oaks Care Center in Pawnee Oklahoma.
Thomas was born July 17 ,1955 in Hobbs, New Mexico. Tommy is the first-born son of Buford Donald and Barbara Ann Hogue. He began his education in Odessa, Texas then moved to Okmulgee, Oklahoma in 1969. He graduated from Morris High School in May 1974. He then joined the U.S. Army that same year. During his training, Tommy was united in marriage Lisa Foster in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was then transferred to Germany as a mechanic in the tank division. To this union, 3 children, TJ, Stephanie, and Steven Hogue.
During the years ahead, Tommy worked for many Trucking firms. His last was with Stone Trucking hauling wide loads. His last trip to Rifle, Colorado he was stricken with multiple strokes which ended his employment March 2012. Tommy loved horses, hunting, fishing, and a special gift to gab. He never met a stranger, always friendly and kind to those he encountered.
Tommy is survived by his son TJ. Wife Leigh and three grandchildren, Bryston, Cheyenne, and Alyson. His Daughter, Stephanie husband Graig Rusco, two grandchildren, Alexas and Ryan. And his stepsister Terri Lynne Mitchell.
Tommy was proceeded in Death by his son, Steven Mathew, his two brothers, Billy Ray and Roy Wayne Hogue, his mother Barbara Ann (Hogue) Hemphill, Maternal Grandparents JC and Ellen Laws, Paternal Grandparents Buford and Alice Hogue and a host of family and friends.
Church services will be Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at first assembly of God Church
