Funeral services for Thelma Page will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Sandra Bach officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Thelma was born December 23, 1930, in Sperry, Oklahoma. Thelma was the daughter of Sam and Augusta (Cole) Carter. As a young girl Thelma moved with her family to Hominy, Oklahoma where she began her education. Thelma later graduated from Hominy High School with the Class of 1948. On September 4, 1948, Thelma was united in marriage to the love of her life Robert Keith Page in Cleveland, Oklahoma. The couple made their initial home in Cleveland. Thelma has continued to reside in Cleveland raising her three sons, Steve, David and Robert. Thelma was a very active member of the Presbyterian Church. She was formerly a Sunday school teacher as well as nursery worker for many years. She also would substitute teach at the Cleveland Schools on occasion. Thelma was a wonderful painter; painting many things including animals, scenery or anything that caught her eye. She also enjoyed doing crafts and macramÈ. Thelma went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Saturday evening, November 15, 2014 at her home in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Survivors are her three sons and their wives, Steve and Sharon Page of Cleveland, Oklahoma; David and Karen Page of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Robert and Mishell Page of Cleveland, Oklahoma; one brother Melvin Carter of Okay, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Brady Page of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Robert Keith Page of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Keiton Page of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Scott Page of Cleveland, Oklahoma; three great grandchildren Brian, Kendell, and Pressley and a host of other relatives and friends that will mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Augusta Carter, husband Robert Keith Page, siblings Pauline, Maxine Darlene and James and a grandson Brian Keith Page.
