Terry Stelting

Terry B. Stelting passed from this life on September 23, 2024, at the age of 76 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Terry was born on July 26, 1948, in Hominy, Oklahoma, the daughter of Victor and Thelma (Wilson) Bejcek. Terry grew up initially in Hallett attending 1st grade, she later moved with her family to Tulsa, Oklahoma graduating from Jenks High School with the Class of 1966. Following high school Terry attended business school and later accepted a position with the Tulsa City - County Health Department. In 1970, Terry was united in marriage to Andy Stelting, and they established their home in Tulsa. Terry worked at the health department for over 35 years when she retired.

Terry loved to read, needle work and made many things for her friends and family. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Skiatook for many years.

Survivors are her brother Tony Bejcek and wife Becky of Perkins, Oklahoma; niece Staci Jahanshahi and her husband Behfar their daughters Sophia and Aria of Stillwater, Oklahoma; nephew JJ Bejcek of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Terry was preceded in death by her parents Victor and Thelma Bejcek, and her husband Andy Stelting.

Visitation will be 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Thursday September 26, 2024 at Chapman Black Funeral Home in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be held 11:00 am, Friday at the Bethany Cemetery in Hallett with Larry Stevenson officiating the services. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
