Teresa Lynn Mills

Teresa Lynn Mills, 64, passed from this life on May 21, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Teresa was born on February 20, 1957, at Edmond, Oklahoma the daughter of Edwin and Charlene Louise (Johnson) Strickland. Teresa attended school in the Midwest City area graduating from Carl Albert High School. Following high school Teresa furthered her education at Rose State College obtaining an associate's degree. Teresa worked in retail for several years then later accepted a position with OU Medical Center in the accounting department. Teresa worked there for many years retiring in 1995.

Teresa enjoyed making crafts, crocheting and cross stitch. Teresa liked going to the lake especially the trips to Lake Eufaula with the family. Her favorite cuisine was Mexican. She loved her pets like her babies. Later in life her favorite enjoyment was her two granddaughters.

Survivors are her husband Neal of the home; father Edwin Strickland of Edmond, Oklahoma; one daughter Carmallita Jones and her husband Alvin, Jr. of Edmond, Oklahoma, two granddaughters Alivia and Sophia Jones, nephews David Mills, Steven Mills and Timothy Strickland, brother Lloyd Strickland; sister Tina Thele; aunt Patricia Patterson and a host of other relatives and friends. Teresa was preceded in death by her mother Charlene Strickland.

Private services will be held in the Maramec Cemetery in Maramec, Oklahoma. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. Friends and family may visit an online guest book and memorial page for Teresa at www.chapman-black.com.
