Tammy Lynn Bateman

Tammy Lynn Bateman, resident of Sand Springs, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at her home. She was 61 years of age. Tammy was born August 4, 1959 in Okmulgee, OK to Everette Booth and Shirley Jean (Teter) Bateman, JR. They lived in Okmulgee until they moved to Owasso where Tammy graduated high school. In 2000, she married Mark Mareno in Las Vegas, NV. They made their home in California for several years, before returning to the Sand Springs area. Tammy owned a Tile Setting business in Tulsa.

Those that survive include her husband Mark, her mother Shirley Bateman, a brother Dan Bateman, and sister Teresa Bateman. Also surviving are nieces Tess, Katelynn, and Candice, as well as a great nephew Seamus. Tammy was preceded in death by her grandparents – Don and Lucille Teter, and Everette and Florence Bateman; her father Everette Bateman, JR and stepfather Ledgel Taylor.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, September 21, 2020 at the Okmulgee Cemetery, Okmulgee, OK with Michelle Turner, Dan Bateman, and Mark Mareno officiating. Special music was Hello God and Amazing Grace. Arrangements and services were entrusted to the Chapman-Black Funeral Home of Cleveland, OK.
