Sylvia Ann Fox-Mills

Sylvia Ann Fox-Mills passed from this life on May 9, 2022, at the age of 74 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Sylvia was born on May 23, 1947, in Denver, Colorado the daughter of Jack Winfield and Patsy Ruth (Grayson) Collard. Sylvia grew up and attended school in the Jennings and Quay area. Sylvia later moved to Denver, Colorado during that time Sylvia met Walter Boyd Fox. On November 9, 1968, she was united in marriage to Wally. Sylvia and Wally resided in Denver until 1984, when they moved to Cushing, Oklahoma. Sylvia worked for a short time as a secretary for a local insurance agency in Cushing. Following the death of Wally in 2010, Sylvia was reunited with General William "G.W." Mills after 40 plus years of acquaintance. Sylvia and G.W. were united in marriage on September 14, 2012 in Miami, Oklahoma, and made their home in Cleveland where she has continued to reside.

Sylvia enjoyed going fishing, working outside, watching, and feeding the birds. Having her family over and cooking for them were also enjoyable times.

Survivors are her husband G.W. of the home; three daughters Julie Fox of Lawton, Oklahoma, Sylvia Severns of Jennings, Oklahoma, Kelsey Dugan of Jennings, Oklahoma; step-daughters Debra Kay White of Owasso, Oklahoma, Dolores Macken of Gardnerville, Nevada; three sisters Patsy Ruth Wiley of North Fork, West Virginia, Jody Talman of Jennings, Oklahoma, Jessica Woodward of Jennings, Oklahoma; three grandchildren Meranda Severns of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Jesse Severns of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Jack Estep of Lawton, Oklahoma, great-granddaughter Arson Estep and a host of other relatives and friends.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents Jack Collard, Patsy Seabolt, stepfather Jesse Seabolt, sister Kathy Milton, brother Richard Collard, stepson Jason Mills and a nephew Lance Seabolt. The Family would like to Thank the Staff of Clarehouse for their care given to their loved one.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 2:00 pm, in the Chapel of Chapman-Black Funeral Home with Pastor David Head officiating services. In the Lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made to the Clarehouse. Clarehouse.com Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
