Susan Margaret Allembaugh, life long resident of Cleveland, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Wednesday morning, August 14, 2013 at the age of 51 years, eleven months and twenty nine days. Sue was born August 16, 1961, in Pawnee, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Marion Wayne and Florence Margarett (Young) Crown. As a young girl Sue was raised in Cleveland where she started kindergarten. Sue continued her education throughout elementary as well as high school graduating with the Class of 1979. During the time Sue was in school she worked at Cookís Grocery for several years. Following graduation Sue gained employment at Osage Oil where he worked as a receptionist. On December 14, 1984, in Miami, Oklahoma, Sue was united in marriage to Milton Dale Allembaugh, Jr. Following their marriage Sue and Dale made their home in Cleveland. Sue later began working at the Cleveland Head Start in the cafeteria for many years. She was able to do what she loved most which was to cook. Sue gained employment at the Cleveland Area Hospital once again doing what she loved. In the late 1980ís, Sue and Dale purchased their current property on Terlton Road and later built their home in 1992 where they have continued to reside. After several years working at the Cleveland Area Hospital, Sue began working for Dr. Perry Evans as a medical receptionist. Sue has worked there until she was no longer able. Being outdoors was a favorite place for Sue to be. She and Dale have spent many days camping and fishing at Beaver Lake in Arkansas on vacation as well as many other places throughout the US. Sue enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and spending time working in her yard. She also loved to work side by side with Dale tending to their pecan orchard. Every fall she loved visiting with their customers that were so faithful to purchase their pecans. Most of all out of life Sue loved being with her family that she loved dearly. Survivors include her loving husband Dale of the home, two sons Shea Allembaugh and Laramie Allembaugh both of Cleveland, Oklahoma; parents Marion and Margarett Crown of Cleveland, Oklahoma; three brothers Rusty Crown and his wife Kathleen of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Charlie Crown and his wife Kerry of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Cody Crown and his wife Denise of Collinsville, Oklahoma as well as numerous other relatives and friends that will mourn her passing. Sue was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Wayne and Elma Crown, maternal granparents Ed and Opal Young and uncles Lee and Bob Young. Church services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Church of Christ with Brother Doug Dingley and Pastor Danny Allembaugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
