Funeral services for Steven Bradshaw will be held Monday May 3, 2004 at 10:00 am at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Bradshaw and Gene Black officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc.
Steven Eugene Bradshaw, a resident of Mannford was born January 5, 1954 in Richmond, California to Joe Franklin and Maxine Evelyn (McBroom) Bradshaw. Steve was raised and received his education in the Concord, California area. He graduated from Mt. Diablo High School in 1972. Steve was later united in marriage to Sherry Lynn (Harrod) in Concord, California on August 31, 1974 and to this union there are two children Richard and Lisa. Then in February of 1976 they moved to Mannford where they have made their home since. During this time Steve accepted employment with Flint Steel in West Tulsa where he worked for many years. After the closure of Flint Steel he gained employment at Brown-Boveri Steel until 1989 when he began working for John Zink. Steve continued to work for John Zink until his retirement in May of 2003 due to health reasons.
Steve loved to fish and hunt during his spare time or just being at home on the porch. He loved to be in the outdoors or being with his family that he cherished so much. He also could not wait until someone would play Yahtzee with him.
Steve passed away Wednesday April 28, 2004 at his home at the age of 50 years 3 months and 23 days. He was preceded in death by his mother Maxine Davidson, one brother Alan Ray Bradshaw, step father John Davidson as well as a nephew Shane Bradshaw.
Survived by his loving wife, Sherry Lynn Bradshaw, of the home; son, Richard Alan Bradshaw of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughter, Lisa Anne Bradshaw of the home; two brothers Bob Lee and his wife Sandy Bradshaw of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; Michael Joe and his wife Sheri Bradshaw, Mannford, Oklahoma, father Joe Bradshaw of Oceanside, California, two nephews Jeff and wife Ashley Bradshaw and their daughter McKenzie of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Michael and wife Cindi Bradshaw and their children Collin and Nicole of Davis, California as well as Brian, Jesse, Timothy, Tonya, LaTosha, David and his son Christopher and numerous other relatives and friends.
