Steve then formed Steve Higgins Concrete which he has operated for many years. In the 1980's he began working with his brother Alan and then later in 2000 with Ronnie, his youngest brother. Steve could often be found riding four wheelers with his son Garrett. They would take trips to the Little Sahara in Western Oklahoma or just ride in the woods.
