Starla Kaylene Wright, 58, of Terlton, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at her home. Starla was born July 26, 1954 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of George Warren, Sr. and Betty Imogene (Henderson) Sawyer. Starla was raised and received her education in Tulsa. After completing her education Starla was united in marriage to Jerry Cooper and to that union there are three children Tonya, Tori and Toby. Starla worked as a waitress for many years with her mother at the Knotty Pine in West Tulsa. Later in life Starla met the love of her life Dino Dewayne Wright. The two have been together since 1981 and have been inseparable. In 2003, they moved to their current home near Terlton where they have continued to reside. Starla was full of life. She enjoyed each and every day to the fullest. She loved going to the lake and having her family and friends together. Starla always enjoyed going to family reunions and was currently working on getting one together for this summer. Survivors are her husband Dino of the home, two daughters Tonya Michelle Teter and her husband James of Claremore, Oklahoma, Tori Rubidoux and her husband Shawn of Tulsa, Oklahoma, one son Toby Cooper and his wife Shelly of Terlton, Oklahoma; three brothers George Warren Sawyer Jr. of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jessie Brewer of Washington, Weldon Brewer of Tulsa, Oklahoma, one sister Denna Hayden of Tulsa, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Neysa Jean Sawyer, Joyce Gant and a brother in law Mark Hayden. Graveside services will be held 4:00 pm Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Terlton Cemetery with Pastor Larry Calvert officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
