Graveside services for Shirley Mae Hall will be held 11:00 am Friday, October 25, 2002 in the Woodland Cemetery with Rev. George Boston of Cleveland, Oklahoma officiating the services. Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.

Shirley, a resident of Cleveland was born January 24, 1926 in Centralia, Illinois to Dewey ''Kazey'' and Druscilla Teresa (March) Porter. Shirley was raised and attended school in Centralia. She was united in marriage to Loren L. Hall in Salem, Illinois on October 6, 1948. In 1952 Shirley and Loren moved to Sterling, Colorado where they remained until 1966 when they moved to Sheridan, Wyoming. In the fall of 1976 Shirley and Loren moved to Cleveland. Shirley was an accomplished seamstress and was proud to have raised six children and always delighted in caring for as well as spending time with her grandchildren. During Shirleyís spare time she loved tending to her roses, peonies, Hummingbirds, Purple Martin houses as well as to work in her garden. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Loren in 1989 and a son Douglas Hall in 1962.

She passed away October 20, 2002 at Cleveland, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years 8 months and 26 days.

Shirley is survived by her children, Dewey and wife Sally Hall of Helena, Montana; Michael Hall of Helena, Montana; Alan and wife Tonya Hall of Cleveland, Oklahoma; stepsons, Dale and wife Sophie Hall of Greeley, Colorado; Pete and wife Linda Hall of Cleveland, Oklahoma; Larry and wife Jane Hall of Cleveland, Oklahoma; Shirley's best friend Beamer her pet; brother, Harold and wife Betty Porter of Centralia, Illinois; 10 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.

The family would like to give there sincere appreciation to Vista Care Hospice as well as Sojourn Hospice for their care and support.
