Sherry Marie Taber was born June 5, 1947 in Hominy, Oklahoma. As a young girl Sherry grew up in Cleveland, Oklahoma where she started her education. Sherry continued school and later graduated from Cleveland High School. Following graduation Sherry was united in marriage to Ronald Lee Bevins in Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 15, 1965. Following their marriage Sherry and Ronnie moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. They later moved to Hominy before establishing their home in Cleveland. Sherry and Ronnie have continued to reside in Cleveland where they have raised their children Darren and Lisa. Sherry was an avid reader. She loved to read the romance and Christian romance writings of Lori Copeland. Sherry also enjoyed going to the American Legion in town to play bingo. Sherry would frequent the Goodwill always searching the book isle for the perfect book she had not read. Sherry and Ronnie loved to visit Eureka Springs and walk up and down Main Street looking through the shops. They also visited Branson several times but were always compelled to return to Eureka Springs for the small town atmosphere. Thanksgiving and Christmas were special times for Sherry. She would spend many hours preparing foods and desserts for her family. One thing she was an expert at was preparing her motherÃs dressing and making sure that Ronnie had the largest portion. Sherry was also very adamant about preparing baked goods for Ronnie to take to work in his lunch. Most of all Sherry was a very family oriented person and loved her husband, children, grandchildren and siblings enormously.
