Funeral services for Shelley Ann Lee, 53, of Cleveland, Oklahoma, will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, November 21, 2019, at The Church that Matters in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Officiating the services will be Pastors Rusty Gunn, Steve Brown, and Jeremiah Herring. Visitation will be Wednesday November 20th, from 6 to 8 pm at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery at Cleveland, Oklahoma. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. Shelley passed from this life on November 13, 2019, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on July 21, 1966, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Chester Don and Jewell Elaine (Braden) Lee. Shelley grew up in Cleveland, attending school and later graduating from Cleveland High School with the Class of 1984. She was active in band, pep club as well as track. Following high school, Shelley was united in marriage and gained two sons C.J. and Bryan Dell. She worked at Thrifty Car Rental in Tulsa before being transferred to Los Angeles, California. Shelley soon accepted a position with EDS and resided in Atlanta, Ft. Lauderdale, Houston, and lastly, in Plano. While living in Houston, Shelley ran two and a half marathons. In the early 1990s, Shelley returned to the Cleveland area and began working at Syntroleum as an administrative assistant. Shelley was currently employed as an IT Asset Supervisor with Matrix in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for the past five years.

Shelley enjoyed cross-stitching, needlework, stamping, and other arts and crafts. She also enjoyed cooking, especially grilling. Shelley liked to travel, especially to the beach where she could put her “……toes in the sand.” Riding motorcycles was a pastime for her and always talked about her trip to Sturgis. Most of all, in life, Shelley loved helping others and being at her home, as well as photographing the sunrises over Keystone Lake.

Survivors include her parents Chester and Elaine Lee of Cleveland, Oklahoma; sister Sherri Smith and her husband Randall of Terlton, Oklahoma, boyfriend Rocky Gilreath of Mannford, Oklahoma, two stepchildren C.J. Dell and his wife Ashli of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Bryan Dell of Cleveland, Oklahoma, grandchildren Emmy, Adlee and Charlie Jo Dell, two nephews Matthew Herring and wife Chelsea of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jeremiah Herring and wife Emily and their son Aiden of Clarksville, Arkansas; Rocky’s children Billy and Kara Gilreath of Mannford, Oklahoma and their children Jordan, Taylor, Marisa and Emma Beth; Michelle and Sean Naboa of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and their children Camyn, Lola Keeta Marie, Bobby and Crissi Gilreath of Mannford, Oklahoma and their children Harrison and Sawyer, Michael and Christina Gilreath of Mannford, Oklahoma and their children Peyton, Riley and Logan and a host of other relatives. Shelley was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Martin and Elnora Lee; maternal grandparents Joe and Beulah Braden; cousins Jack Braden, Jane Ann Braden, and a grandchild Skyler Gilreath.

Pallbearers will include Bubba Braden, Murphy Braden, Sonny Braden, C.J. Dell, Bryan Dell, Randall Smith. Honorary Pallbearers are Matthew Herring and Jeremiah Herring.
