Funeral services for Scotty ìScottybobî Stewart of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at The Loyal Order of the Moose in Tulsa, Oklahoma with Tony Warford officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, Oklahoma with Rev. Rich Redinger officiating under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Scotty Dean Stewart was born December 1, 1960 the son of Ronald and Wanda (Morris) Stewart As a young man Scotty began his eduation in Fairview, Oklahoma. The family also lived in Elgin and he later graduated from Eisenhower High School in Lawton, Oklahoma. Soon after graduation Scotty entered into the service of his country in the United States Airforce. He began his basic training a Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas then later transferred to McConnell AFB in Wichita, Kansas. After he received his intial training Scotty was stationd in the Phillipines for the remainder of his time. During the time he spent in the Air Force he obtained training on jet aircraft. He was also awarded the following decoration and citations: Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Air Force NCO Professional Military Education Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon with one Oakleaf Cluster, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award and the Air Force Training Ribbon. Upon his discharge from the military Scotty returned to the Houston, Texas area and later enrolled at Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He obtained his certification as a Certified Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic. Scotty then accepted a position with American Airlines where he has been employed for the past 20 years as a mechanic. Scottybob had many hobbies they include dancing, fishing, radio controlled airplanes and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He was a member of the ìQuack Packî; a group of friends that he took many adventures with. Scotty would often take out on his motorcycle by himself and ride for hours upon hours. However Scottybob was a man that would do anything for anybody. He was a man that loved to help and expect nothing in return. He also took many trips during the holidays helping the campaign for the ìToys for Totsî. He was also a member of the 514 Transport Workers of America. Survivors are his father Ronald Stewart and his wife Barbara of Magnolia, Texas, mother Wanda Harrison of Navasota, Texas, step father Wayne Harrison of Lawton, Oklahoma, signifacant other Lisa McGee and her two daughters Kayla and Allison of the home, two children William and Ronald Clark, one sister Melissa Gargotta of Houston, Texas, one brother Larry Stewart of Bryan, Texas, two uncles Leonard D. Morris of Fairview, Oklahoma, Jacky D. Morris of Watonga, Oklahoma, one aunt Janet Anderson of Lawton, Oklahoma as well as a host of other relatives and friends that mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Leonard R. and Maxine Morris and paternal grandparents W.L. Stewart and Eunice Schibi, one brother Ray Lee Stewart and one sister Sherrie Lynn Harrison.
