Sandy Lee Dunn, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016, in Cleveland, Oklahoma at the age of 46 years old.
Sandy was born April 21, 1970, in Ogden, Utah. She was the daughter of Gary Y. and Lorraine (Bunch) Dunn. Sandy grew up in the Ogden area and later moved to Antler, Oklahoma at the age of 19 with Robert Haycher. Sandy remained in Antlers for over 20 years before moving to Cleveland, Oklahoma. On August 3, 2011, Sandy and Larry Hooper became the proud parents of Madison Lee Hooper. Being a single mom of a beautiful baby girl that she cherished and loved tremendously is what Sandy loved most in life. Taking Madison to the park and getting her nails done at Bunny and Company were also things that she loved to do. Sandy also attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors are her daughter Madison Lee Hooper of the home, family pet Brown Brown, brother Russell Gordon of Hide Park, Utah, uncle Jim Dunn of Georgetown, California, two aunts Lorna Crabb of Las Vegas, Nevada, Mildred Sorensen of West Valley City, Utah, church family and many special friends who will miss her dearly. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Memorial services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Steve Southward officiating. Burial of the cremated remains will be later interred in the Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
