Sandra Ann Woods

Sandra Ann Woods, 55, of Fairfax, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Sunday, September 19, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Sandy was born October 23, 1954 in Hominy, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of George and Betty (Steel) Blue. As a young girl Sandy was raised in Hominy, Oklahoma where she later completed her education. Following high school Sandy later furthered her education in the medical field and obtained her Licensed Practical Nurseís Degree. Sandy then gained employment with Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville and worked there for several years. She has also worked in various nursing facilities in Osage county. Sandy loved to spend time with her family. She also loved planting flowers and working in the garden when she was able. However Sandy loved helping other people that were in need the most out of life. Survivors are her companion Jo Graves of the home, two brothers Glenn Blue of Oklahoma, Carl Blue of Oklahoma; Johnathan Harley Gibson, Hayden Gibson, Jayden Cupp as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Sandy was preceded in death by her father George W Blue, mother Betty J. Blue, two daughters Melissa Cupp and Candy Gibson. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 23, 2010 at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Edens officiating. Following the services the body will be cremated under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
