Samuel Alman Pemberton, 72, of Cleveland, OK passed away Sunday July, 29, 2018 in Tulsa, OK. Sam was born in Little Rock, AR on February 19, 1946 to John Berry and Kathleen Madelon Pemberton. Sam served in the Navy and was stationed in CINCPAC Fleet in Pearl Harbor, HI. There he met and fell in love with his wife of 52 years, Roberta Ann Pancho. Sam was deeply proud of his sons Thomas John and Todd Jerod, and of his daughter Tiffany Joy.
Sam had an extensive career as a news engineer; working for ABC, NBC, CBS, and PBS affiliates. As a true outdoorsman, Sam loved hunting, fishing, gardening, camping, and shooting Archery. He lived his life by loving his family, God, and country.
Sam is survived by wife, Roberta Ann Pemberton, son Thomas Pemberton and wife Leigha; son Todd Pemberton and wife Andrea, daughter Tiffany Pemberton, 5 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; brother John Pemberton and wife Linda, brother Charles Pemberton, sister Carolyn Millirons and husband Al, sister Kathy Tolbert and husband Buddy, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Visitation for Sam will be Friday, August 3, 2018 – 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Chapman-Black Funeral Home in Cleveland, Oklahma and his service will that evening August 3, 2018 at 7:00pm at Keystone State Park Community Center, Sand Springs, Oklahoma. You may share a memory at www.chapman-black.com.
