Rose Marie Ward passed from this life on August 22, 2021, at the age of 90.

Rose was born on March 18, 1931, in Pawnee, Oklahoma the daughter of Earl and Daphne (Bush) Kinney. Rose grew up and attended school in Keystone. Following her education Rose was united in marriage to Clarence Ward on February 21, 1948, in Keystone, Oklahoma. Following their marriage Rose and Clarence established their home in rural Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Rose worked at Commander Mills Midwest and Keystone School for many years.

Rose was dedicated to her family always taking care of them especially her husband, parents and in laws at the end of their lives. Thanksgivings were typically at her home with her family surrounding. Traveling with her sister Irene with one memorable trip to Yellowstone and a tour of the West Coast. Rose also traveled to Bush Valley in Arizona where her family originated. Rose strived daily to serve her Lord and Saviour and find joy in all situations.

Survivors are her three children Chloe Robinson of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Peggy Ward of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Clarence Ward and his wife Carolyn of Cleveland, Oklahoma; three sisters Alma Bartley of Jennings, Oklahoma, Georgia Beck of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Evelyn Rusco of Oilton, Oklahoma, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Ward, sister Irene Ball, infant sister Margaret Kinney and one great granddaughter Alonnah Knight.

Services will be held 10:30 am, Friday, at the Friendship Community Church in Mannford, Oklahoma with Pastor Delores Terrill officiating. Burial will follow in the Sinnett Cemetery at Cleveland, Oklahoma. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
