Ronnie K Nails, 73, passed from this life on February 15, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Ron was born on September 12, 1947, at Muskogee, Oklahoma, the son of Kaye and Katherine (Burkham) Nails. Ron attended school in San Jose, California. Following high school Ron remained in California for a short time returning to Oklahoma in 1982. Ron accepted a position with PSO and remained there for several years. Ron then started his own company picking up donations from individuals and companies for nonprofits. Ron’s last position was with Stop-n-Go retiring in 2011.
Ron always loved fishing, camping and helping anyone in need. Going dancing and listening to music were also some of his favorite pastimes. Taking his grandkids to McDonalds were weekly trips. Ron was notoriously known for taking care of his family at any expense. Watching sports, especially when the 49ers were playing. NASCAR races were also exciting times, his favorite drivers are Jeff Gordon and Jimmy Johnson.
Survivors are his wife Ronda of the home; three children Christopher C. Nails and his wife Kelsie of California, Ryan Savage of the home, Tyger Savage of Mississippi; one brother Robert Nails of California, two sisters Sharon Thorpe of California, Brenda Castor of Oklahoma, six grandchildren Lexie and Trent Grass, Remington Nails, Michael, Kenny and Kevin Meeks and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents Ron was preceded in death by his three children Ronnie Nails, Jess Anthony and Kelly Nails.
Services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 6, 2021, at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Burial will be held in the Woodland Cemetery at Cleveland, Oklahoma.
