Robert James Braverman was born September 4, 1964, in Glendale, California. He was the son of Allen and Marianne (Rudolph) Braverman. Robert was raised in the Glendale area and attended school there.
Upon completion of his education, Robert went to the army but was discharged because his grandma was ill and in the hospital, he obtained his license as an electrician and worked in that capacity throughout his life. He was married to Aurora Nonles in Los Angeles, California on November 9, 2001. The couple made their original home in California, later moving to Las Vegas. They had two children, Janean Lisa and Brett James. The couple relocated to Cleveland, Oklahoma in October 2001.
Robert was described by his family as a passionate, intelligent, hardworking, loving and caring husband, father, son and brother. He was extremely proud of his two beautiful children that have grown to be smart and strong individuals. He often said having children had the greatest effect on his life. He was often quoted as saying, "Why fit in when you are born to stand out." He enjoyed listening to rock music. He also enjoyed watching Star Trek, working in the garden, planting flowers for his wife and fixing things around the house and just about anything in the garage. He had a good heart and liked helping people.
Robert spent many, many years in so much pain and missed not being able to travel with his family to places throughout the United States. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family and his dog Lucky.
Robert passed from this life on Monday, July 10, 2017, at his home in Cleveland, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Aurora of the home; two children, Janean Lisa and Brett James Braverman; his parents, Allen and Marianne Braverman; brother, Keven Braverman and a sister, Lisa Braverman.
