Robert Dean Hickson passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018 in Broken Arrow Oklahoma at the age of 81 years, 1 month and 11 days.
Robert was born March 19, 1937, in Terlton, Oklahoma. He is the son of Jesse D. and Lucille Elvira (Jenkins) Hickson. Robert was raised and received his education in Terlton, graduating with the class of 1955. On January 12, 1956, Robert married Delois Ann Box of Mannford. The couple moved to Tulsa where they established their initial home and raised their four children Bobby, Robin, Lucille and Russell. Later the family moved to Broken Arrow where they resided until they returned to Mannford in 1993. Robert was a co-partner for over 25 years with Moley Produce and 25 years with Tulsa Fruit company as a buyer.
Robert had a thing for clean windows always wanting things tidy and spotless. Robert enjoyed traveling to Branson with his wife Delois Ann. He loved antiquing and watching PBS English Shows. Robert was always the life of a party making others laugh and giving everyone a nickname.
Survivors are four children, Bobby and Susan Hickson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Robin Sonsini of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Lucille Deann and Chris Feather of Bixby, Oklahoma, and Russell Damond Hickson of Coweta, Oklahoma; ; three brothers and their spouses, Bill and Cathy Hickson of Terlton, Dan and Kaye Hickson of Terlton, Ray and Sandy Hickson of Terlton, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Natalie Sonsini, Nicole Sonini, Samuel Hickson, Ashlee Feather, David Feather, Cindy Feather, Nicholas Hickson and Aiden Hickson; three great-grandchildren Brandon, Ryan and Madelyn.
Preceded in death by parents Jesse and Lucille Hickson, wife DeLois; four brothers, Jesse Don, Roy Dennis, Roger Ditto Hickson and Bailey Hickson.
