Lynn was born March 21, 1942, near Clarksville, TX to Richard Harrison and Lucille (Bledsoe) Quick. He was raised in Clarksville until the family moved to Dallas in 1953. Following high school, Lynn went to work for a finance company that later transferred him to McAlester, OK and eventually to Tulsa, OK. It was while in Tulsa that he met Marlys Jean (Jeanne) Pate. They were united in marriage in Tulsa on February 5, 1972. To this union two daughters were born. In 1999, the family moved to Cleveland, OK.
Lynn enjoyed many pastimes including hunting, fishing, playing golf and in earlier years playing softball. A special time for him was family and following his grandchildren’s activities. A member of the Cleveland Nazarene Church, Lynn taught Sunday school classes at different times and was an active board member. Going to auctions was also a special time for him, where he would purchase different items and later offer them for resale.
Those that survive Lynn and hold many fond memories include his wife Jeanne of the home; two daughters – Raquel Frazier and husband Kirk of Cleveland, and Haley Brown and husband Gary of Hominy; one brother Claud Quick and wife Linda of Ennis, TX and a sister Sue Quick of Mesquite, TX.
