Raud Jackson Nelson

Raud Jackson Nelson, 55, was called to his eternal resting place on Saturday, December 26, 2020, at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Raud entered this world on July 6, 1965, in Tulsa, Oklahoma he was the son of Glenn Dale and Linda Jean (Lamb) Acreman. Raud initially started school in Tulsa later at the age of seven moved with his parents to Terlton. He attended school in Terlton till the 6th grade at that time he transferred to Cleveland where he later graduated with the Class of 1984. During high school Raud was active in track, basketball and Vo-Tech carpentry class taught by Fred Vaughan. Raud soon moved to Tulsa where he began working on his electrical journeyman’s license. After his required hours Raud obtained his Journeyman License working as an electrician. He worked at several non-union locations but later joined the IBEW Local 584 in Tulsa.

Hunting, shooting and fishing was Raud’s favorite pastimes. Being outdoors was where his heart was at riding his ATV as well helping others. Raud is described as a very likeable person who would always be willing to help anyone. Raud also had a passion for World War II information and had a large video library of WW II documentaries.

Survivors include his parents Glenn and Linda Acreman of Cleveland, Oklahoma; five siblings Mark Nelson and his wife Chris of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Todd Nelson and his wife Andrea of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Lanette Marcellus and her husband Paul of Willis, Texas, Robert Acreman and his wife Jackie of Call, Texas, Cheryl Robinson and her husband Jack of Cypress, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside services will be held 10:30 am, Saturday, January 2, 20121, at the Terlton Cemetery. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. Friends and family may visit an online guest book and memorial page for Raud at www.chapman-black.com.
