Lethafaye Ann Chaloupek, 69, known to most as Randi, passed from this life on January 26, 2020 at her home in Owasso, Oklahoma. Born on December 13, 1950, in Piedmont, Missouri, Randi is the daughter of Jack and Anne (Gowen) Esterline. After finishing school, she met Fredie Raymond Hunter, and they were united in marriage in February of 1970, at Miami, Oklahoma. They made their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. From this union two children were born Brandy and Bill. Fredie passed away in 1988. On February 14, 1990, Randi was united in marriage to Darrell Chaloupek in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The couple resided in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma as well as Tulsa, Oklahoma before moving to Owasso, Oklahoma in 2001.
Randi loved her poodles, Hannah and Hattie. She is described as a caring person; putting everyone else before herself. When cooking at home, she was a great cook; from roast, to pecan and chocolate pies, cakes, and chocolates. Her home was always clean and welcoming. Christmas was her favorite time of year. Coincidentally, her favorite color was red.
Survivors of Randi include her husband Darrell of the home; two children, Brandy Fitzloff and husband Jason of Collinsville, Oklahoma, and Bill Hunter and Sabrina of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two brothers Marty Esterline and his wife Vivian of Kellyville, Oklahoma, Jim Esterline and his wife Mary of Adair, Oklahoma; one sister Sue Esterline of Missouri; one grandson Zachary Fitzloff and Ashley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one great granddaughter Lennox Fitzloff. She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Anne Esterline, one brother Dannie Esterline, husband Fredie Hunter in 1988.
A graveside service for Randi will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Jennings Cemetery in Jennings, Oklahoma. Officiating her service will be Rev. Dan Edens. Services are under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home in Cleveland, Oklahoma. An online guestbook is available at www.chapman-black.com.
