Phyllis was born September 6, 1943, in Hominy, Oklahoma.  She was the daughter of John Adam and Oma (Tilson) Walters.  At the young age of two Phyllis contracted Polio and was in and out of numerous hospitals and clinics.  She later began her education in Cleveland, graduating from Cleveland High School with the Class of 1962.  After high school Phyllis attended Draughon Business College in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  During that time Phyllis also worked at the Goodwill.  Phyllis was united in marriage to her soulmate Wendell Weller on April 5, 1964 in Tupelo, Oklahoma following a short 27 day courtship.  Following their marriage Phyllis and Wendell resided in Hominy; they later moved to Cleveland, Oklahoma.  Phyllis has worked at Munsingwear, Bama Pie, Safeway and Davis IGA.   Phyllis was a lady who enjoyed being around her family and especially her grandchildren.  She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, University of Oklahoma and very big supporter of her grandchildren.  Phyllis loved to cook and was always concerned about others and their families.  A trip to Click's in Pawnee always meant getting a ribeye steak and it was a given that there would be no sharing.  Phyllis always felt that she was very lucky and blessed to have Wendell as her husband.  Phyllis's faith was a very important part of her life.  At a young age she accepted Christ as her Saviour in Oklahoma City during a Billy Graham Crusade.  Phyllis was member of the Cleveland First Baptist Church. Phyllis passed from this life on Thursday, August 20, 2015, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years old. Survivors are her husband Wendell of the home, three children Scott Weller and his wife Christine of Glenpool, Oklahoma, Jeff Weller and his wife Patty of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Shelley Pickle and her husband David of Mount Vernon, Missouri; eight grandchildren Matthew Pickle, Zach Pickle, Josh Pickle, Caleb Weller, Cheyanne Weller, Noah Weller, Frank Caddell, Daniel Caddell; two great grandchildren Savannah and Alyssa as well as many other relatives and friends that will mourn her passing.  In addition to her parents Phyllis was preceded in death by her two brothers Richard, Johnny Walters and sister in law Carolyn Walters. Church Services will be held 10:00 am Monday, August 24, 2015, at the First Baptist Church with Rev.
