Phyliss J. Perryman

Phyliss Jean Perryman, resident of Prue, OK passed from this life on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at the Journey Home in Bartlesville. She was 74 years of age. Phyliss was born December 20, 1947, in Oklahoma City, OK the daughter of Leonard and Mildred Dorothy (Horton) Blackburn. She was raised and received her education in Bethany and Scottsdale, AZ before the family moved to Prue, in 1964. Phyliss graduated from Prue High School. On June 1, 1968, she was united in marriage to Francis H. (Bud) Perryman at Prue. Phyliss worked as a sales associate for Cleveland Walmart for 30 years, but her greatest joy was in spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, and going to flea markets.
Those that survive and hold many cherished memories include her husband Bud of the home; children Paul (Chuck) Perryman of Tulsa and Janie Johnson and husband Gary of Enid, OK; one brother Leonard Doyle Blackburn of Owasso; four grandchildren – Joey Johnson and his wife Candi Johnson, Nikkie Perryman, Tyler Stewart, and Royce Johnson; as well as six great grandchildren – Ryleigh Perryman, Rayden Perryman, Elijah Perryman, Kayla Johnson, Joel Johnson, and Kathe Johnson. Phyliss was preceded in death by her parents and her little dog -Squashie Face.
Visitation for Phyliss will be from noon to 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 7th at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Cleveland. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 8, 2022, in the Chapel of the Chapman-Black Funeral Home with Brother Garry McDevitt officiating. Private burial will be at a later date.
