Paula Kay Miller Spencer, 75, transitioned to Heaven in the presence of her daughters, Shanna Gregor, Shanae Simmons, Jill Simmons, as well as her sister, Wanda Potter.
Mom's greatest joy and ultimate service is her family, especially her grandchildren, Brady Gregor, Bryce Gregor, Piper Bozeman, Chance, Autumn and Brooke Burns, and Eli Bozeman, and great-grandboy, Lucas Gregor.
Paula was born on October 13, 1946, at Corvallis, Oregon, the daughter of Harry and Pauline (Fox) Miller. At a young age Paula, moved with her family to Cleveland later graduating with the Class of 1964. She married the love of her life, Paul (Red) Spencer on October 13, 1978, in Mannford, Oklahoma. Paula worked as a medical assistant primarily for Dr. Robert Baker.
A longtime resident of Mannford, Oklahoma, she attended Mannford Assembly of God for most of her life. Mom was a prayer warrior for all who knew her. Her prayers brought miracles and blessings into our lives that we never even imagined.
Survivors are her children, Shanna Gregor and her husband, Blaine of Mannford, Shanae Simmons and her spouse, Jon Engles of Grove, Oklahoma, Jill Simmons of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; stepson Paul Spencer, Jr. of Missouri; sister Wanda Potter and her husband Jim of Cleveland, Oklahoma and numerous other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Paula was preceded in death by her husband Paul "Red" Spencer.
Services will be held 11:00 am, Monday, January 10, 2022, at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Family has requested memorial donations be made in honor of Paula to Domestic Violence Intervention Services of Tulsa at 3124 E Apache St, Tulsa, OK 74110 www.dvis.org (918) 743-5763. Private burial will be held in the Woodland Cemetery. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
