Patrick Keane Rathbun passed from this life on August 14, 2021, at the age of 42.

Patrick was born on August 22, 1978, in Tulsa, Oklahoma; he was the son of Daniel Lynn Rathbun and Cheryl Dawn (LaMascus) Young. Patrick attended school in Cleveland and later completed his education at Hominy graduating with the Class of 1997. Following high school Patrick began working at Simple Simons working there for several years. He later started working in the oil field for Horton Oil Tools then at Dunlap Oil Tools and was currently employed with Young Oil Tools in Drumright, Oklahoma for the past three years. On November 6, 2008, in Hominy, Oklahoma, Patrick was united in marriage to Jessica Lizbeth Evans.

In his spare time Patrick enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and playing video games. Patrick was an avid gun collector and spent many hours shooting his guns. He also liked taking time out reading books written by Tom Clancy and David Baldacci. Patrick also loved watching sci-fi and B movies. He was always a very quiet person until he got to know you. Patrick also liked sitting down drinking a beer and smoking a cigar.
Survivors are his wife Jessica of the home, two children Jack Evans of Hominy, Oklahoma, Kimberly Rathbun of home; father Daniel Rathbun of Hominy, Oklahoma; mother and step father Cheryl and Kelly Young of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; sister Amanda Aldridge and Matt of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, nieces and nephews Ian Aldridge, Gregory Aldridge and wife Kelsie, Delaney Aldridge, great niece Everleigh Aldridge, aunt Dani Mullins and her husband Jim of Hominy, Oklahoma as well a host of other relatives and friends. Patrick was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Mary and Tom Rathbun, maternal grandparents O.C. and Donna LaMascus.

Services will be held 2:00 pm, August 20, 2021, at the First Christian Church in Hominy, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in the A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery.
