Patricia Sue Hulvey

Patricia Sue Hulvey, 62, of Cleveland, Oklahoma passed from this life on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at her home. Patricia was born July 26, 1951, in Hutchison, Kansas. She was the daughter of Richard and Delores (Mallard) Chaney. As a young girl Patricia moved with her parents to California where she began her education. Patricia later moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where she graduated from McClain High School. Following high school Patricia remained in Tulsa, Oklahoma and gained employment with Sun Oil. She later accepted employment with Manhatten Furniture where she worked until the earley 1980ís. Patricia moved to the Cleveland Area in 1983. On July 23, 1993, Patricia was united in marriage to Gary Don Hulvey. During her time in Cleveland Patricia worked at the Country Store for over 15 years until they closed. Patricia then began working in Sand Springs at the Post Oak Lodge and in 2012 began working at the Cleveland Walmart. Patricia worked at the Walmart until January 2013 when she was forced to retire due to health reasons. Patricia was a very family oriented. She loved Christmas time and Thanksgiving because that always brought her family together. Patricia also enjoyed fishing and gardening. Cooking for her family was also a fun time at her home. Patricia and Gary enjoyed going to drag races and riding their motorcycle. Patricia also enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino. Survivors are her husband Gary of the home, mother Delores Chaney of Cleveland, Oklahoma; two children Chantz McKinney and her husband Robert of Cushing, Oklahoma, Patrick Hulvey and his wife Misti of Cleveland, Oklahoma; three sisters Kay Pulley of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Bobbie Henderson of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Rosie Matlock of Olive, Oklahoma, five grandchildren Aubrey, Coty, Briana, Lexi, Harley; five great grandchildren Preston, Matt Lilly Brooke, Abel and a host of other relatives, nieces and nephews that will mourn her passing. Patricia was preceded in death by her father Richard Chaney, sister Judy Starr and father in law Otis Hulvey. Chapel Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Chapman-Black Funeral Home with officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to .
