Patricia Mae Jones

Patty was born September 3, 1942 in Abilene, Texas to John and Mildred Marie (Luttrell) Sanders. Patty was raised and received her education in Cleveland where she later graduated. Patty helped her father and mother at the Cleveland Drive In working in several different capacities. After graduation, she started attending Oklahoma State University. Patty later moved to California in the late 1970ís. She has made her home in a several different places, which include California, Texas as well as Colorado, but has always considered Cleveland her home. Patty has worked for the Hominy Nursing Home and the Woolorac Wildlife Refuge near Bartlesville as well as the Hominy Ambulance. Patty returned to college and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts Degree on July 25, 2002.

Patty enjoyed reading, going to water aerobics, sewing, traveling and working in her garden. She also loved taking vacations at Branson and Las Vegas. Patty would spend many days just watching her birds. Patty also attended the First Baptist Church in Cleveland.

Patricia Mae Jones, passed away September 11, 2006 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 64 years and 8 days. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Kelly Reed on May 8, 2002.

Survived by her grandaughter, CoCo Reed of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandson, Kelly Reed, Jr. of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; partner, Rick Butler of Mannford, Oklahoma; half sisters, Jodie Linville of Salisaw, Oklahoma; Clara Weeden of Cement, Oklahoma; half sister, Johnnie Neely of Claremore, Oklahoma; great grandchildren, Dayja Jones, Derrick Williams, Jr. both of Tulsa, Oklahoma as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Sunset memorial services will be held Saturday, September 16, 2006 at 7:00 pm in the Woodland Cemetery Chapel with Dr. Larry Wilson officiating under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc.
