Funeral services for Oma Lorine Robinson will be held Friday, April 4, 2003 at 2:00 pm in the Sanctuary of the First Assembly of God Church in Cleveland, Oklahoma with Pastor Dan Edens officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home of Cleveland, Oklahoma.

Lorine Robinson was born May 3, 1928 in Kusa, Oklahoma to Henry and Omie Ardella (Holbert) Brekenridge. As a young child the family moved to the Hominy Area in a covered wagon. Lorine was raised and received her education in the rural Hominy area. She attended the Paxton School west of Hominy as well as Hominy Schools where she graduated high school. After Lorine graduated form high school she was united in marriage to her husband Jesse Lee Robinson in Pawhuska, Oklahoma on September 7, 1946 and to that union there are seven children Janice, Carol, Jesse, Roger, Susan, Karen and Mike; which she called her ìMagnificent Sevenî. They made their in Hominy as well as Cleveland while Jesse was employed on the Mullendore Ranch. In 1954 the family moved to the Hulah Lake Area. In 1956 they moved to the Strom Ranch near Pawhuska. Lorine and Jesse made their home there until 1977. They moved to Cleveland where she has made her home ever since. In 1984 Lorine started to work for the Cleveland Public Schools in the cafeteria. Lorine later retired in 1993. If Lorine had any spare time she loved to crochet, sew, work with flowers and most of all her cactus. Lorine definitely loved being with her grandchildren, being independent doing things for her self and having all of her ìMagnificent Sevenî family together.

Lorine went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 31, 2003 at he age of 74 years 10 months and 28 days. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Jesse, and two infant brothers.

Surviving are her children, Janice Hernandez and husband Jerry of Phoenix, Arizona; Carol Starrett of Cleveland, Oklahoma; Jesse Robinson and wife Sherri of Lebanon, Missouri; Roger ''Corky'' Robinson and wife Denise of Ulysses, Kansas; Susan Robinson of Tomball, Texas; Karen Hearing and husband Michael of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Mike Robinson and wife Christina of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; sister, Marie Brouillard of San Bruno, California; brother, Alvie Brekenridge of Hominy, Oklahoma; sister, Alta Mc Donald of Piqua, Ohio; sister, Lorah Pearson of Daly City, California, twenty Grandchildren, four Great Grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
