Murrel Warner Petitt of Cleveland, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 21, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born June 2, 1961 in Yale, Oklahoma to Loren Burl and Virginia Katherine (Price) Petitt of Terlton, Oklahoma. He was 58 years old. He enjoyed fishing, camping, doing crafts and playing video games; Murrel also participated in the Special Olympics. He enjoyed his work at CSC in Cleveland, Oklahoma. He loved his 2 pet cats and his dog.
Murrel enjoyed get togethers with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Lawrence and his wife Linda, brother-in-law Johnnie Lee Miller and sister Latrica Beatty. He is survived by daughter Sharon W. Petitt, sister Berndette Miller of Hallett, Oklahoma, Joyce Blankenship of Hallett, Oklahoma, Charlotte Vandever and husband Kenneth of Terlton, Oklahoma, Eris Allen of Terlton, Oklahoma; brother David Petitt of Jennings, Oklahoma; brother-in-law Hearschel Beatty of Terlton, Oklahoma; uncles J.C. Price and wife Toni of Jennings, Oklahoma, Leon Price and wife Verna of Jennings, Oklahoma; aunt Donnetta Hockaday and husband Dean of Oilton, Oklahoma, and many nieces, nephews and other family members. He will be missed.
Graveside services for Murrel will be Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Terlton Cemetery, Terlton, Oklahoma at 2:00pm. You may share a memory at www.chapman-black.com.
