Michelle Lynn Romine

Funeral services for Michelle Lynn Romine formerly of Hominy, Oklahoma will be held Saturday, February 12, 2005 at 10:00 am in the Chapman-Black Funeral Home Chapel with services officiated by Kenny Christian. Burial will follow in the A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc.

Michelle Romine current resident of Cushing was born July 29, 1977 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She is the daughter of Jack Lynne Romine and Patricia Ann Romine. Michelle was raised and received her education in Hominy, Oklahoma; where she started Kindergarten and later graduated from High School in 1996. During High School she also attended Vo-Tech in Drumright and graduated with a Certificate in Offset Printing. Michelle soon accepted employment in Tulsa, Oklahoma with Pennwell Publishing using her Offset Printing skills. Michelle was very active in the Girl Scouts and was always one of the top cookie distributors.

After Michelle graduated from high school she moved to several different communities in the area; in 2003 Michelle and her husband Shane Dickey moved to Cushing, Oklahoma. One of Michelleís favorite vacations was her trip to Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

Michelle passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2005 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 27 years 6 months and 10 days. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents as well as her maternal grandparents.

Survived by her husband, Shane Dickey of the home; daughter, Cassie Lynn Dickey of the home; father and step mother, Jack and Dorothy Romine of Hominy, Oklahoma; mother, Pat Romine of St. Pete Beach, Florida; two brother, James Anthony Romine of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Samuel Mills of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three sisters, Ruby Elkins of Hominy, Oklahoma; Mary Bears of Hominy, Oklahoma; Jackie Broam of Hominy, Oklahoma; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
