Michael Brinson

Michael Allen Brinson of Clevland was born to Charles Emery and Elizabeth Brinson on July 27, 1964, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.  Mike graduated from Cleveland High School with the Class of 1982.

Mike was employed at Mack's Furniture for a time where he gained experience with heating and cooling.  He later said he applied many times over that experience with what he learned from Bruce.  He was proud to have had the opportunity to help with the installation of the heating and air conditioning system in the current First Baptist Church in Cleveland.  

For several years Mike was employed with several oil companies in Oklahoma and Texas.  In 2007, Mike enrolled in Vatterott College for electrical and robotics.  He received his degree and upon graduation he was hired by an electrical company with the contract for installation of the "New Smart Technology" for heating and air conditioning at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Mike felt his work there was quite an achievement as the BOK Center is monumental for Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Following an early retirement Mike enjoyed the time spent with his three nephews who lost their father at a young age.  He also enjoyed being with his many friends.  
Michael passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 59, at the Porta Caeli House in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Mike has left us but will forever be in our hearts.  

Michael is survived by his mother Elizabeth Brinson, one sister Jill Bryant, nephews Tyler Hickson, Jared Bryant and Dylan Bryant as well as a host of other relatives and friends.  Mike was preceded in death by his father Chuck Brinson and a brother-in-law Randall Bryant.

Services will be held 11:00am Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Chapman Black Funeral Home Chapel in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home. You can visit an online memorial website for Mike at www.chapman-black.com.
