Mary Louise Perry was born March 9, 1941 in Covington, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Edward Paul and Johnnie Jewel Jones. Mary passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at the Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa at the age of sixty-five years, ten months and twelve days.
Mary was married to Russel Wayne Perry on June 16, 1967. The couple made their home in Broken Arrow until five years ago when they moved to Hallett. Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She lived for taking care of her family and often said they were the ones who had the most effect on her life.
Mary enjoyed country western music and her favorite song was Spirit in the Sky.
Her hobbies included sewing, flower arranging, word puzzles, crocheting and ceramics.
Mary was preceded in death by parents; daughter, Renee Pingleton, son, Mike Woodall; two brothers, Louis and Loren Jones and a sister, Lorene Morton. She is survived by her husband, Russel Wayne Perry, of the home; son and his wife, Orville and Sherri Woodall, Guthrie, Oklahoma; son, Calvin Woodall, Guthrie, Oklahoma; son, James Cook, Tulsa, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Zechariah (Zeck) Woodall, Guthrie, Oklahoma, Jeremiah (Jerry) Woodall, Guthrie, Oklahoma, Larry Burger, Blanchard, Oklahoma, Jimmie Burger, Blanchard, Oklahoma, Victoria (Tori) Pingleton, Guthrie, Oklahoma; nieces and nephews, Kip Jones, Quepha Smith, Linda Morton, Cindy Caesar and Brenda Hubbard.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 25, 2007 at the Chapel of the Chapman-Black Funeral Home with Rev. David Head officiating. Burial of the cremated remains will be at the Bethany Cemetery in Hallett, Oklahoma.
