Mary Kathleen Foote was born March 25, 1929 in Skiatook, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Luther and Rosetta (Anthony) Carter. Kathleen was raised and attended school in the Wild Horse area.

Upon completion of her education, Kathleen was married to William Arthur Foote on February 12, 1946 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The couple made their initial home in Tulsa and had four children, Janet, Joyce, Denise and Kevin. Kathleen worked for many years as a hair stylist out of her home in Sand Springs.

Kathleen was a longtime and faithful member of the Calvary Heights Assembly of God Church in Sand Springs. She taught Sunday School for many years, teaching the young married class; was the director of the Children's Church for many years, a member of the choir and special programs director. Later she and Bill joined the Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church where they attended until Bill passed away on October 23, 1994. Kathleen remained faithful there until for health reasons she was unable to attend.

In addition to her love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His Church, Kathleen enjoyed a special relationship with her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time outdoors camping with her family.

Kathleen went to be with her Lord on Friday, December 16, 2005 at the Green Tree at Sand Springs at the age of seventy-six years, eight months and twenty-one days. In addition to her husband, Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Everett Carter and Ed Carter; and one sister, Bertha Mehagan.

Kathleen is survived by three daughters, Janet and James Austin, Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Joyce and Bob Smith, Sapulpa, Oklahoma and Denise Dobson, Sand Springs, Oklahoma; son, Kevin and DeeDee Foote, Sand Springs, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; three sisters, Juanita Welch, Cleveland, Oklahoma; Ethel Simmons, Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Nora Estes, Cleveland, Oklahoma; and a brother, Thelbert Carter, Cleveland, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at the Cathedral of Praise Church in Sand Springs, Oklahoma with Rev. Lonnie Walls and Rev. Mike Buie officiating. Burial will be at the Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland under the direction of the Chapman-Black Funeral Home in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Ron Combs, Larry Watkins, Jim Stephens, Jerry Pardue, Don Crawford, Paul Bush. Serving as honoraary pallbearers will be Frank Little and Pat McCallie.
