Martin David Bloznik, 65, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018, at his home in Terlton, Oklahoma.
Marty was born February 5, 1953, in Kansas City, Kansas. He was the son of Joseph Martin and Audrey Verlene (Hicks) Bloznik. He was raised and received his education in Kansas City later graduating from Piper High School. Following high school Marty began working in the telecommunications field. He gained a wealth of knowledge and later began working as an independent contractor. With his knowledge Marty has traveled throughout the world designing, surveying and overseeing the installation of telephone infrastructures. Marty’s job has taken him to Hawaii, Guam, Malaysia, Truk Islands, Yap Islands, Africa, Australia and all over Northern America to name a few. In July of 2010, Marty moved to Fox River Grove, Illinois. During his time there he met Shannon and the couple was later united in marriage to on August 28, 2014. In 2016, Marty retired and has resided between his home in Terlton and Fox River Grove.
Marty loved fishing, guns and motorcycles. Malaysia was his favorite place during his travels and he especially loved warm weather and sailing. Marty had one of the best personalities and loved people.
Survivors are his wife Shannon of the home; two children Audra Bloznik, Joey Bloznik; three siblings Timothy Bloznik of Grenola, Kansas, JoAnn Kelly and her husband Carl of Peck, Kansas, Judith Chowins and her husband Charles of Pequot Lakes, Minnesota; and numerous friends around the world. He was preceded in death by his parents.
