Mark Allen Harrold, 63, passed from this life on August 14, 2020, in Cleveland, Oklahoma.

Mark was born on April 22, 1957, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was the son of Billy Ray and Margaret Sue (Sparkman) Harrold. Mark graduated high school from Northside High School in Ft. Smith with the Class of 1976. Shortly after high school, Mark joined the United States Air Force. He was initially stationed at McCord AFB. During that time, he met Betty. The two were later united in marriage on November 13, 1981, in Tacoma, Washington. Mark has also been stationed in England, Abilene, and Tinker AFB. During his time in the service, Mark was an aircraft fuel system mechanic. He worked on C141, C135, B-52, TR1 as well as the highly secret B2 and F117. Master Sergeant Mark Harrold retired after 20 years of service to his country in March of 1998. Upon his retirement, Mark and Betty moved their family to Hallett, Oklahoma. During that time, Mark also accepted a position with American Airlines at the Tulsa maintenance facility. In 2001, Mark and Betty moved to their current home in Cleveland, where they have continued to reside.

Mark enjoyed sports as well as participating in them. He was an avid racketball player and enjoyed swimming, watching NASCAR and football especially the Dallas Cowboys, working in his yard, and on occasion, playing golf. Some memorable trips were to Disney World, Brazil, Florida, Hawaii, and Paris. Mark was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Cleveland.

Survivors include his wife Betty of the home, four children Don Carter and his wife Ashlee of Bixby, Oklahoma, Justin Harrold and Stacia Walker of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Craig Harrold and his wife Alana of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jorie Morgan of Tulsa, Oklahoma, three siblings Dennis Harrold of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Gary Harrold and his wife Pat of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Susan Harrold-Albertson and her husband Raymond of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; nine grandchildren Dayton, Alexis, Kaylee, Corey, Kamdyn, Cali, Jaxson, Tirzah, Elly Jo one great grandchild Abilene, mother in law Norma Hall and a host of other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents Billy and Margaret Harrold father in law Lloyd Hall.
