Margaret Joyce Eddings passed from this life on April 20, 2021 at the age of 80 in Pawnee, Oklahoma.

Margaret was born on September 10, 1940, in Gainesville, Georgia; the daughter of Claude Lee and Bertie Ruth (Cantrell) Castleberry. Margaret grew up and attended school in Dawsonville, Georgia. Following the completion of her education Margaret, began working at a local poultry plant. On September 23, 1969, Margaret was united in marriage to Wayne Scott Eddings in Hall County, Georgia. Established their initial home in Dawsonville later moving to Osage, Oklahoma in 1979.

Margaret spent many hours crocheting, reading and visiting with family and friends on the phone. She was a member of the Osage First Baptist Church. Margaret always had a close relationship with her sisters and enjoyed returning to Alabama to visit her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors are her husband Wayne Eddings of the home, four children Terry Castleberry and his wife Alecia of Theodore, Alabama, Scott Eddings and his wife Michelle of Springville, Alabama, Pam Thornton and her husband Owen of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Melinda Bates and her husband Timothy of Chelsea, Oklahoma; four siblings Juanita Dale of Dahlonega, Georgia, Wilda Pirkle of Dawsonville, Georgia, Evelyn Millwood of Hall County, Georgia, Judie Watson of San Antonio, Texas; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents Lee and Bertie Ruth Castleberry; siblings Jerry Castleberry, Janice Stone, C.L. Castleberry, Leroy Castleberry, Charles Castleberry and Jimmy Castleberry.

Services will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, April 23, 2021 at the Western Heights Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 12:30 till 2:00 pm prior to services. Burial will follow in the Osage Cemetery.
