Margaret Helen Coffey

Margaret Helen Coffey, 62, passed from this life on February 10, 2019, at the age of 62, at her home in Hominy, Oklahoma.

Margaret was born on October 12, 1956 at Grenock, Scottland. Margaret was the raised and attended school in Grenock, Scottland. At in the late 1970’s, Margaret moved to Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Margaret remained in the Hattiesburg area and was later united in marriage to Teddy Coffey on June 28, 1997, in Cleveland, Oklahoma. The couple has remained in the area and was currently residing in Hominy, Oklahoma.

Margaret enjoyed going to the Golden Corral to eat. During the Super Bowl Margaret always enjoyed providing her specialty “Lasagna” to all of her family and friends. She also was cooked spectacular pancakes and egg rolls. Margaret was very easy to pull practical jokes on and always took it in stride. One place she always wanted to visit was Graceland.
Survivors are her husband Teddy of the home; daughter Darinda Alexander, son Charles Defatta, Tiffany Moore; grandchildren Lacy, Lillie and Karlee Defatta, Halie Moore, Reanda Alexander, Katie Moore, Ryan Alexander, Breanna Wylie; mother in law Dorothy Coffey, in-laws Sandra Grier, Glenn Coffey, Deborah Foster, Leroy Coffey and many other relatives and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and a brother John Omarha.

Services will be held 2:00 pm, February 14, 2019, at the Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Burial will be held in the Woodland Cemetery at Cleveland, Oklahoma with Chapman-Black Funeral Home handling the arrangements.
